My Work: I mix music and play for the crowds.My work mainly focuses on making the crowds swing to my beats.

Why I chose this Job: Because of my passion for music! DJing is one career that will help me bind myself to music 24/7.It's exhilarating.

Required Skills:Love for music, and a sense of sound, rhythm and melody. There are no specific skills;with a good knowledge of music and determination to perform, you can work your way up.Also, performing for the right crowd is important and takes you places.

Job training: You don't need to go to a performing school. All you need is enthusiasm. Observe and learn.Working in a night club, interning, and on-the-job with an already established DJ helps. So does constantly discovering new sounds and mixing music in an interesting way.

Preferred background: If you have a keen interest in music and are willing to learn, that's enough

Salary: In the beginning, you earn nothing. One needs to slog. And it takes time for people to know your worth starting off at about Rs 10,000 a month, you can go up to Rs 5 Lac a month.
